Greetings from the
team at Dovedale House and welcome to the 'new-look' website.
Thanks for visiting our new site. Feel
free to browse the pages and get a feel for the 'house', then make the
experience a reality by making contact with us and arranging a visit. You
can be sure that the warmest of welcomes awaits you.
STAFFING - we are delighted to have
Kathryn Pantrey as our new Deputy Warden and Anne-Marie Gibson as Catering
Manager. With returning staff member Jane Constable also helping
out, the food aspect of your stay is well and truly "catered
for"!
Though we have been unsuccessful (so
far!) in our attempts to secure large sums of money from major potential
sponsors, we have instead prioritised and re-planned the proposed
development into more manageable packages.
DEVELOPMENT PROJECT - we are pushing
ahead over the winter with the proposed changes to the 2ND FLOOR, with the
end result being 2 new toilets & showers, 2 revamped bedrooms and a
new leader's en-suite room.
Fund-raising is underway and we would
welcome ideas and of course offers of help (practical and/or financial!).
SATURDAY 1st MARCH - GRAND AUCTION -
at Dovedale House ... watch this space for news of exciting lots ... and
mark the date in your diary so that you don't miss out on a great social
evening of food, entertainment and bargains!
